Yankees cream the Rangers in a 3 game series out scoring them 17-6
Chan Ho Park was put on the 15 day DL. Bringing up Boone Logan, Logan was on of those pitchers I was secretly hoping to make the roster in spring training.
Game One - April 16th
CC had 9 strike puts in six innings. He threw 79 pitches of which 58 were strikes. Cervelli, did catch CC again, but nothing is to be made up this match up. Jorgie just happened to get the day off. Cervelli s not CC's personal catcher; but stay tuned, you never know.
The game was called after an hour long rain delay, resulting in a Yankees win 5-1
Game Two - April 17th
AJ pitched a solid 7 innings, with 7 strike outs
112 pitches with only 68 strikes
That's ok because AJ is looking comfortable on the mound and having Jorgie behind that plate
Finally his time has arrived, that's right people Alex Rodriguez hit his first home run of the season, in the bottom of the 4th. Just an inning before Captian Derek Jeter went long also.
Game Three - April 18th
Really what else is their left for this man to do in his career?
The one and only Mr Andy Pettitte pitches a great game he went 8 innings giving up 2 runs, striking out 4 batters. He threw 107 pitches and of those 57 were strikes.
Life without the Captain, is something I don't like to think about. Today Derek sat on the bench
Instead of playing Jeter, Joe put in the young short stop Ramiro Pena
who had a big game for himself; 2 RBI's. A few good plays behind the pitcher. 
Mo, the Sandman. It took only 2 pitchers in today's contest against the Rangers and with Andy going 8 innings; Mo was brought in to get the last 3 outs. It took 4 batters but that's ok, because in the end he did what he had to do. He the ended the game with the save.
Yankees sweep series 3-0
