Yankees @ A's Series

Oakland vs New York

Game One - April 20th

Javy, Javy, Javy... This outing was much better, he must prefer the California sun. He threw 107 pitches, only 3 walks, and 6 strike outs. But he did give up 2 home runs. Overall I was very happy with his performance, and when he couldn't do it any more, the Yankees brought in

Logan, Joba, Marte
who combined for four strike outs, only 2 walks. I was very pleased with Logan and happy he is with team even if it is for a short period of time. When the Yankees bullpen did what they could, it was time fort he greatest closer of all time. That's right, its time for Enter The Sandman...
who ended the night with four batters and one huge strike out...

Key Plays:
Jorgie had 2 singles and 2 RBI's
Swisher 2RBI single
Alex with the OMG play a 3 run Homer

Derek Jeter is under the weather, I know you'd never know it...

Game Two - April 21st

Hughes, almost pitched a no no, and that went into the 8th inning. With 10, count em 10 strike outs. Only 101 pitches of them 70 were strikes. He proved that deserved the 5th starter spot in the rotation.

Key Plays:
Robbie an RBI Triple
Jorgie RBI
Brett RBI single

Game Three - April 22nd
**This game I was in the stands for**

Poor CC, he struggled in front of his family and friends. Believe me he had penalty in attendance to watch him play. CC was never booed during the game and actually received a standing ovation when they announced his name at the start of the game.

Key Plays:
Thames homered
Mark also homered
Swisher hit a double

Drama:
Rodriguez and A's pitcher Dallas Braden had some words during the game, when Alex apparently crossed the mound..
Yankees won the Series 2-1
