Yes, I know they won but as much as I love em, they are still a long way from a Stanley Cup team. Neither team was very disciplined, but more so the Sharks. Back to back penalties, drawing a penalty from the Islanders then taking a penalty themselves. Turnovers in the first period by the Sharks were insane at the Islanders blue line. They continue to struggle on 4 on 4, with trouble getting the puck out of their own zone.
On to the good of the game, Nabbie our beloved goaltender playing his 500th game as a Shark. In the 4-1 win the had goals from Patty Marleau, who is still captain in my heart; Thornton, Setoguchi and the newest member of our team Ryan Vesce with his 1st NHL goal in his 11th big league game.
