The game wasn't suppose to happen

Weather in the freezing 40's and slowly dropping. With rain in the forecast, people said we couldn't get the in, let alone done...

But boy oh boy did we. The game was an astounding 5 hours and 10 minutes; 13 innings. The game turned into who done it and a day time soap opera. The game had it all, from hit players including but not limited to catchers, batters and even umpires.

In order of appearance, I am not joking either, we went through all these pitchers:

Burnett, Coke, Joba (with dirty hat), Hughes, Mo, Aceves, Marte, and Robertson

In true Yankees fashion they gave us a show like always, even though we could of done with out the 3 errors. Our beloved Captain hit the first home run in the new stadium along with a home run from Rodriguez too. Cano had is only third triple of the year to bring in a run, and as they say the rest is history.

This game is one for the books, they came back strong and fought for the win and against an Angels team that didn't want to let up.

He was the game winning run, hit in by Melky Cabrera in the bottom of the 13th inning to win the game. Jerry is sporting the pie issued to him by none other then AJ himself...
