Game Review: Before the game started, like always I make a list of what they need to do to get better. They improved two out of three, so not bad. I said they need to score first in order to establish dominance. 45 seconds in the 1st big Joe scores from Vesce and Healtey. Second our top players need to score more Thornton, Heatley and Marleau all scored. Zone play was the last thing they need to work on, and well they still need the work, big time....

Now I thought in the NHL we used a different kind of referee system then MLB. If you haven't been watching post season baseball the umpires have like astounding 26 missed calls. I realize that the NHL doesn't have nearly those kinds of numbers, due to replay. But tonight they had a major blown call. Patrick Marleau scored a goal and a Thrashers player crashed the net, they had an instant replay showing everyone the goal was good. Someone in the NHL headquarters called the goal off....
