Sharks v Wild

In honor of Hockey Fights Cancer the coach's wore purple ties along with all the commentators, the player's in interviews can also be seen wearing their teams own fight cancer caps.
We dont have the same player's as we did last season,

Goc-Greier-Michalek-J.R-Cheech
We are not the same team, so the results wont be the same. Maybe that could be a good thing. Heatley says his goal this year with the Sharks is a Stanley Cup
If and when he brings a Cup home to San Jose, I will marry him
Back to the game, just I was saying the Wild's penalty kill is on fire, the Sharks score.
Marleau, one of my favorite's, doesnt need a 'C' on his chest to let him that he is leader on this team. In every game he has stepped up and made big plays, from scoring to assisting, even throwing a check every now and again. He will always be a captain to me, he is one of the veterans on this team, also he is one of the orginial's in my book. When I first started watchng hockey he was just drafted by the Sharks and quickly won my heart.
From one former captaion to anthoer, Owen Nolan; there will always be a soft spot in my heart for this man, I miss him. He was a great Shark and a great captian of ours, he always manges to score againest us.

Third period the first 9 seconds Marleau scores putting the Sharks up 4-2, that would be his second goal of the night from Blake and Pickle. McGinn with another open ice hit to flatten the Wild's hopes of coming back. Nabbie was on fire tonight with very hard shots he blocked them back to back, he got caught out of the net and Clowe and Malhorta played goalie till he could recover. Malhorta was another Shark to have great night.
Stars of the Game
1. Patrick Marleau two goals
2. Jamie McGinn body all over the ice, great player
3. Evgeni Nabokov 38 saves
